But it's OK to watch on the football field? I don't really care either way if you watch or care about the NBA but people just lump the NBA into a group and make huge sweeping generalizations about everyone in the NBA. Sure there are some miserable humans that play in the NBA but you have that in every sport.

Just saying I am not a fan of pro sports. But what is ironic is, is that I caught myself watching more NBA last year than I ever have.

 

I think with a shortened season it has the possibility to be much more exciting.

But football is alright? That's laughable.

Highest level? Really? UConn women play at a higher level then most NBA teams. NBA players are great athletes and great ball players but NBA execution 75% of the time is laughable. Only about 3 teams commit themselves to playing D for more than the last 4 minutes of a game.

 

Glad strike is over for all of those non-players that depend on NBA for their paycheck.

Don't get into the NBA till after March madness. Figured they would be playing eventually. Although, if all the basketball focus would have been on college instead of the NBA for a couple of months. It would hurt the ratings for the NBA when they did comeback.

I love the NBA and I will be glad when the games are back on.

Trust me it's not worth it. I try to tell people for years how unreal the NBA is and how spoiled we are and most don't even know it. It is the best it has ever been right now and yes that includes the Bird/Magic years and the Jordan years (And MJ is my fav athlete of all time). Most people are just going to be stubborn and that is completely fine, I just wish everyone would realize the talent that's in front of them.

 

But anywho, I'm just glad it's back and I can defend Lebron and company against the lynch mob they face every game. Going to be a fun year.

There are gangbangers and thugs on your favorite college basketball team also. They keep their guns in the dorm room though.
