November 10, 201114 yr More to come...:dancingpa:clap::dancingpa:banana: @ESPN700: BREAKING NEWS that the NBA and the @TheNBPA have reached a deal. Stay tuned.
November 10, 201114 yr Author No responses? Glad I'm not the only who doesn't care about the NBA... I'm sorry you don't like watching good basketball games.
November 10, 201114 yr I'm sorry you don't like watching basketball at it's highest level. I dont like watching football at its "highest level" either.
November 10, 201114 yr Very cool. I had a gut feeling we were getting close. I loved the shortened season.
November 10, 201114 yr I'm sorry you don't like watching basketball at it's highest level. I do , I like watching the college game as much as anyone .
November 10, 201114 yr Author http://tracking.si.com/2011/11/10/dave-checketts-says-deal-for-cba-framework-in-place-other-sources-disagree/?sct=nba_t2_a3 Dave Checketts, the former president of the New York Knicks and the Utah Jazz, said on ESPN Radio 700 that the NBA and the NBPA have agreed on the framework for a new collective bargaining agreement. However, several other sources, including CBS’s Ken Berger, say that no deal has been reached. No official announcement of an agreement has been made from either side. “Person in the room assures me that no agreement has been reached. They’re about to hit the five-hour mark here in New York,” Berg tweeted just before 5 p.m..
November 10, 201114 yr Author I do , I like watching the college game as much as anyone . Not even close.
November 10, 201114 yr Highest level? Really? UConn women play at a higher level then most NBA teams. NBA players are great athletes and great ball players but NBA execution 75% of the time is laughable. Only about 3 teams commit themselves to playing D for more than the last 4 minutes of a game. Glad strike is over for all of those non-players that depend on NBA for their paycheck.
November 10, 201114 yr Author I don't want to insult anyone's basketball knowledge so I'm not even going to get into this debate. Not what this thread is about.
November 10, 201114 yr OK? Just saying I am not a fan of pro sports. But what is ironic is, is that I caught myself watching more NBA last year than I ever have. I think with a shortened season it has the possibility to be much more exciting.
November 10, 201114 yr I just don't like watching gang bangers and thugs. Speaking with someone who's son played in the NBA, nearly every locker room has guns and gang bangers in it.
