November 6, 201114 yr This is really bad; how negatively is the Penn State program effected by this? Does this damage Coach Paterno's reputation?
November 6, 201114 yr This is really bad; how negatively is the Penn State program effected by this? Does this damage Coach Paterno's reputation? It does damage JoePa's rep because he didn't immediately call the police or even the school. He sat on it for a day.

November 6, 201114 yr This bothers me. Sandusky has a great reputation because Penn St was known as LBer U. I'm still kind of shocked!
November 6, 201114 yr After reading this article this is sick! I used to love Penn St but this is the worst dark cloud ever! Some heads need to roll in this one! No excuses!

November 6, 201114 yr If he never notified the police himself his rep is forever gone to me. I agree. It even is a worse rep IMO than Bobby Bowden's. All he did was look the other way at the activity of his players which I don't think was on this level.

November 6, 201114 yr If he never notified the police himself his rep is forever gone to me. :thumb: I read in another article that at one point this coach was told (by the athletic dept, etc) "Do not bring your boys on campus anymore." Now of course that would clear all of them of guilt, right? :ohbrother: It's like saying---it's ok to do what you are doing, just don't do it here. :sssh:
