I do think Clyde has a valid question. We'd all be naive to believe that there aren't UK football fans who think Joker is giving Newton a chance because of the color of his skin. TTC isn't that kind of guy though. Fair question though. Nothing wrong with getting some clarification in a case of confusion.

Secondly, I've PM'd Clyde to clarify my previous comment made earlier in the thread. I admit that the "nebulous" nature of my post could easily be misinterpreted as race based, but I want to ensure all that it wasn't. I simply don't think Joker is a very good head coach. But, then there are a plethora of white head football coaches that I "diss" on a consistent basis. hehehe.........

I said after Lville game UK would beat Jacksonville+ Ole MIss and that's it. I feel the same although I'm starting to think they might have a shot vs UTenn!

I wonder if the UK coaching staff has the ability to evaluate talent. People who know nothing about football could see that Smith is a better QB than Newton.

 

As for Williams, he's putting up the best numbers of all the UK running backs, why would he not be considered the best?

Are these people that could see Smith was a better QB the same ones that thought Newton was better than Hartline?

I'm all about Max an Coshik, but before we get carried away...Coshik has looked good against inferior competition. I still think Clemmons is the best option at RB if healthy.

Joker had made up his mind about Newton two years ago and nothing would ever change his mind. I have no doubt in my mind he allowed a superior QB to walk because of it.
