Prayers to Tyler Wilke from what I hear he is still in a hospital in the Ville.

Sorry to hear about this, I hope that he gets better.

Why are you picking on Trinity for winning 72-0? Didn't X get 77 points. Didn't some schools get 80 points? Weren't there numerous blow out when the ones play the fours? I think Trinity should have run plays that it intends to use in the future and helps to avoid injuries?

Was not picking on Trinity. I (and everyone else) knew this was not going to be a ballgame and said if we hold it to under 80 I would consider that a moral victory. Whatever was said to warrant a unsportsmanlike penalty when a fellow competitor is down on the field was classless in my opinion and I thought they threw the ball way too much with a huge lead. As was pointed out in another post, "T" probably would have scored just running the ball too. I guess I didn't know that Trinity was so special this year that to speed the clock up you guys throw the ball. What do you do in your 2 minute offense, line up in victory formation?

In all seriousness, Trinity is an amazing talented team and should have no problem with their 21st State title. It would do the state of Kentucky proud if the National title was also obtained. Good Luck!!

You can not fault the Rocks for having better talent then SK. The kids that play on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th teams deserve to run the same plays as the 1st team. Those kids are the ones that take the beating 3 or 4 days a week to pre-pair the starters. It is also the defenses job to stop them. It would not have mattered if they ran the ball every play or passed the outcome is the outcome. Passing the ball helped in the 2nd half better then the run. Trinity was pushing the SK D off the ball 10 yrds down the field. At least with the pass we had a chance to break the pass up or an incomplete. Trinity keep rolling your young guys deserve to play hard also.

PLEASE READ POST 81. TRINITY DID NOT THROW A PASS IN THE SECOND HALF.

Again, T threw their last pass of the evening with 3 1/2 min left in the 2nd qtr. Their backup QB played the entire second half and never threw a pass. Truthfully I think the backup QB should have thrown a few passes. After all, what if the starter gets hurt on the first play next week? And why shouldn't the 2nd and 3rd team WRs have a chance to get a reception? Anyone who was there knows that T played just like they always do. They ran no trick plays - just kept the first team sharp for a half and then let all the reserves play in the second half.

I thought they threw the ball way too much with a huge lead.

I've now heard it all. People are complaining about throwing the ball with 3:30 on the clock in the SECOND quarter.

Take some knees!!!! Just messing around. You run the ball every time and SK drills a young back and hurts him and now you have an injured kid trying not to run up the score, so you need to pass it some. Its playing the game.

That's what I was thinking?

Here is something important we could talk about...how is the kid doing that got hurt?
