Avid Tiger is of the opinion that earlier in the year Trinity didn't so much beat X as X beat themselves. A 10 or 15 point loss I might say he has a case but 35 points, not so much. He like Glaser wants a rematch.

No chance. 10-0 is quite the accomplishment but to play with Trinity you have to be muti-dimensional and SC is not. I'd say T would be a 50 pt favorite and that's not a knock against Mckee's team.

I think Avid has a bit of a point. Cincy X was the closest game T has had this year and Lou X just beat them. So arguably if anyone in the four state area has a chance against T it would have to be X. No disrespect to the Cincy schools or to Scott Co. or SK, but I think if they play this 6A tournament 20 times Trinity wins 19 and X pulls the upset in the other.

I don't think Scott Co. has a chance to even score. It is premature, but from what I have seen and read T has just TOO much. Scott Co. brings it and will hit you. They play hard and fast. The QB has very good play fakes and their "O" is deceptive. A lot of mis-direction...ALOT!! Even with all that was just said...T seems to be on a different level.

The problem with this thread is that Simon Kenton saw less than half of Scott County's playbook in that game. Why tip your hand to future opponents and why risk putting the ball in the air when the bread and butter plays are getting the job done. There's only one way to know if the Cards can play with Trinity, and I hope we get the chance to find out on Dec 3rd.

 

By the way, there were two Trinity coaches sitting near us on the visitors side. They left mid-third quarter as soon as Scott County pulled their starters. Who do you think they came to watch?

I see your point but SC averages a tad over eight passing attempts a game, when will it be the right time to put the ball in the air? SC has a fine team and I wish them the best but at some point you have to mix it up a little.

The right time will be when they're facing an opponent that's slowing down their running game...no need to mix it up until then.
