NKY Middle School Basketball

Featured Replies

Well the refs at sharp....I wouldnt say they homer......honestly they are just not that good

Before you were saying they were "sketchy", which I don't know what your definition of that is, but I was certainly reading that to mean either were favoring PC or had an agenda. Now you are saying they just aren't very good. Which is it or maybe they are bad and "sketchy"?

When PD got "homered" at IHM were the officals just bad or were they "sketchy"?

Sketchy meaning not very good at any school.....you must be pretty naive or something....an agenda.....yeah theres a huge agenda...seriously your funny!!!! And its PC not PD

So to conclude....

When PC goes on the road they get "homered".

When anyone goes to PC, although it may feel like you are getting "homered" rest assured their officials have no agenda they are just bad.

I am sure the coaches, players, and fans of the Northern Kentucky Middle School Basetball League feel much better the next time they have to make the trip to Sharp. Who says we can't accomplish anything on BGP?

Thats exactly right they are bad... and if you dont like playing at sharp.....sorry. I suggest you read all the posts in this thread..there is kind of a common feeling toward the home court ref..... An agenda....crackin me up....Sharp is part of the middle school basketball conspiracy....shhh dont tell anyone...

Foul totals in the 7th grade game were 22 for HMS and 9 for PC. Those are the facts. The 7th grade coach stayed seated and said nothing for the 2nd"T".

Heard from a parent of a 7th grade HMS player that the coach deserved it. Don't shoot the messenger!

Absolutely false.

I was at the game. Preceding the 2nd "T" a foul was called on an HMS player, player reacted by putting his arms out demonstrating his arms out wide. Ref looked at bench and tossed the coach with no words ever spoken. IMO "tech" assessed to the bench for that reaction. HMS coach leaves, still not speaking to a ref only to his asst. & team. 7th grade kids tried their best rest of the way. Glad I do not have to return again...Good luck to both teams in the tourney.

Don't believe it...but only a couple of people really know what was & was not said and that does not include an HMS parent from what I saw.

7th grade state is next weekend in Lexington. Any NKY teams going? Hopefully we can get some updates on http://www.nkmsa.blogspot.com He had some good stuff on there for the 6th grade state.

7th grade state posted teams and games times. You can see the times for the NK schools on http://www.nkmsa.blogspot.com

Not sure what coaches were contacted about the top 7th grade players in this area but there are a couple of kids excluded from the list. Cheesman from Walton needs to be on this list, probably one of the best guards in this area. I would take this kid over any guard on here.

Carson Williams from Owen County is the best 8th grade player in the NKY area.

I will agree with these sentiments regarding the 8th graders as well. Perhaps whomever they talked to needs to get out and see some games.
