February 24, 201214 yr Twenhofel 6th girls advance to the semi's with a 27-10 win over Newport. Game was moved from Wednesday to Tuesday....not sure why. IHM warming up to play at 6:45 with their opponent not in the gym. Anybody know what happened there? Campbell county advances to the 6th grade girls championship with a win over Camp Ernst. They will play Twenhofel after they eeked out a close win over IHM. This game is Saturday, 2/25 at Grant County HS.
February 24, 201214 yr 8th grade action - BOYS - Covington Holmes defeated an excellant Ockerman team last night to advance to the Championship game. Bulldogs on a roll after winning the "middle school state tournament" at KBA this past week-end. Connor defeated Twenhofel and will play Holmes in the NKMSAA final Saturday at 4:15. GIRLS - Gray girls closed a 12 point deficit to beat Campbell County by 4. No losses for Gators this year in the regular season or post tournament play. Defending regional champions Conner defeated a very good Woodland team. Conner will try to avenge an earlier loss to Gray in the 8th grade girls Championship @ 3:00 Saturday.
February 24, 201214 yr Did I read correctly..........Conner with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys all in Championship games Saturday? Impressive. Also have their 8th grade girls playing for a title. Good luck to all tomorrow. Will all games be played at Grant Co.?
February 25, 201214 yr Yes. All games at Grant Co. Conner 7th grader Hemmerich (#33) put on a show pouring in 31 for the Colts at Highlands including 7 three pointers. Could have been 8, but foot was on the line on one shot in the 4th qtr. Most of these shots were nothin but net...BTW- Hemmerich didn't even play the whole game as the Conner coach cleared his bench with a couple minutes to play. Dumlao for Woodland also had a nice game with 21 pts. Both coaches were class acts and clearly do an outstanding job!
February 25, 201214 yr Hemmerich is a streaky shooter, when hot you better find him and face guard. Spencer was hot for Conner, how did Jake Ohmer play for Woodland.

February 25, 201214 yr Congrats to the 6th grade girls Campbell County team for defeating Twenhofel in the regional championship game today. Score was 31-25. They ended the season with a record of 25-0! Taylor Clos had 22 of the team's 31 points.
