Do not know why. Originally the pink out was going to be with Elder and then they said no. Ryle agreed and then a week or so later declined. Do not know the reason why. Look to see you on Friday sporting your pink gear.

Highlands by a few touchdowns. I assume McCoy will start. It will be about the same with or without PT, especially McCoy getting reps in practice all week. McCoy is very good.

Here's the latest on Towles, from this morning's Kentucky Enquirer:

 

 

Despite jumping in the air and giving a fist pump after scoring Highlands' first touchdown in Friday's 34-29 win over Elder, Bluebirds senior quarterback Patrick Towles said he doesn't remember any of it.

That's because Towles suffered a mild concussion two plays before scoring his touchdown, and while he left the game after scoring the TD, he said there's a 90 percent chance he will play in this Friday's regular-season finale against Ryle.

Towles said he did not participate in contact drills in practice on Monday, but did throw the ball around, and if he passes an impact test at his doctor's today, he will be cleared to play.

"I went to the doctor Saturday morning and I was symptom free so that was a good sign," said Towles.

We used to laugh about getting the bell rung in the old days (as in as late as the 90s) but now we're smart enough to know it's no laughing matter. Second Impact Syndrome is not something to mess around with. If I wore the head coach hat I would not play PT this week.

With or without PT, Highlands rolls in this one. This Ryle team is nowhere close to being where last yrs team was, Not even close imo.

HHS will roll in this one IMO. Mcoy will start and throw for 2 TD's and run for another 2 is my prediction. Teams have an idea what PT will do, but Mcoy is the wild card here.

If it wasn't for all the injuries I think there would be a lot of hype for this game. I know Highlands has a few injuries and over at Ryle injuries have really taken a toll. I believe, tomorrow night, 13 starters will be out. Hopefully, some of these players will be back for the playoffs. As far as the pink out, I know there are lots of Ryle fans that bought pink t-shirts for the game.

Sorry to hear Ryle has so many starters out and I hope they all get back at some point this yr. Really though, I dont think Dale and Highlands really care how many are out to be honest with you and it wont change their perception of Ryle or the task at hand.

 

Wasnt that long ago Ryle beat Highlands and I know Highlands has had Ryle circled on their calender for a yr. Not real sure what Coach Warner is expecting tomorrow nite in terms of score or whether or not Dale will call the dogs off early.
