Injured players not playing in a game - what a novel idea. Just some bad fortune this year with so many very good players out but the kids who play will be like all Ryle players - they will play hard for 48 minutes. There will be no excuses. What a joke to think that Coach Warner would hold out healthy players.

I can certainly understand a coach wanting to rest players in a meaningless game. It makes sense if your sole goal is to win in the playoffs.

 

However, that argument does take a hit when it wasn't applied one year ago.

I agree... if Ryle's coach wants to play all his starters the whole game, that's fine. It's also fine if he wants to send out the JV squad tonight. It's his team and he should be able to make the call based upon what he thinks is best for his team. It sounds like several Ryle players are banged up/injured. If true, I wish them a speedy and full recovery for the playoffs. I also hope that both HHS and RHS escape any injuries this evening.

Ryle starters which are healthy will play. All of you have incorrect information. My source says, injured players may not play...because they are injured.

This is a good measuring stick for Ryle. If they play Highlands tough, they may have some real momentum to give Scott County a run on that half of the bracket.

Bryson is very good about that policy and always abides by the doctors' decision - no questions. We have an unusually high amount of players, including over half the starters, that are not medically cleared to play, some out for the season. It is what it is. Thanks for clearing all of the rumors up for us.............Heck yeah, I dont want any kid that is or has been injured playing before he is cleared by the Drs. Especially in such a meaninless game as others have suggested for RYLE. My oh my how things change from yr to yr.
