Hunting is something I have never gotten into. I have tried it but it just does nothing for me.

 

Never tried it but I'd like to. Girlfriend went two Thanksgiving's ago for the first time and she got a doe after only a few hours.

What do you do sitting in a stand for hours on end? Do you take a book with you or what?

I'd probably sleep. Guess that defeats the purpose of being out there. Which is why I'll never be out there.

While I do eat meat and don't object to hunting on ethical grounds I personally don't want to kill anything if I'm not forced to. As I tell my friends, I am anti-killing.

 

What does bother me however is hunting "for sport" where the meat isn't used.

True story, I had a conversation with a guy earlier this evening about cats. Apparently he has too many cats living on his farm, so when he sees that a cat has had a litter, he uses the newborns as catfish bait. To make it worse, he said he doesn't kill the kittens first or anything either. He just hooks them and tosses them in. I was completely horrified...

That is most definitely animal cruelty and I would report the guy, NOW.

I was just thinking, If it wasn't for the whole physical attraction I'd definetely go gay. I've come to the realization that all females are ticking bombs just waiting to go looney toon.

I was in the groom's wedding party in my sister's wedding. My son and daughter were also in the wedding. I was extremely grateful to be a part of the wedding. I didn't hang out with the groom and his friends at the bachelor party. I hung out with family I hadn't seen in years and got drunk with my cousins at the hotel. I had a great time and I don't think it was awkward for anyone. I really had no desire to hang out with the groom and his friends. I wanted to hang with my cousins and I couldn't wait to get away from the groom and his pals so I could go hang with my cousins. I was still proud to be a part of the wedding party. Knowing my sister...she made it clear I would be a part of the wedding party.

I really appreciate your honesty. I think I would just make my right hand my partner though. Too each his own.:thumb:
