Looks like I'll just have to cut it to 1 or 2 groomsmen then... :lol:

 

Actually, I kind of dread the day that I have to choose groomsmen. I've got 3 brothers (no sisters), and about 7 more guys that I'm really close friends with. God forbid I marry a girl with any brothers...

I believe you'd have to dress up in "regular poster" disguise.

I think (hope) number 4 was my last time in the barrel as a best man. Ever figure out how much cash you've shelled out on tuxedos over the years?

I don't even want to think about that. I was in one wedding at sunrise in a very private ceremony. We didn't wear tuxes and the bride picked out nice pants, shirt, and a tie. We didn't know up until the time but the shirt and tie ended up being part of our gift. So after shelling out ~100 for the pants we got a very nice outfit which is a lot better in my mind than a tux you have to send back.

 

Also, I have attended every bachelor party including two Vegas trips and a New Orleans trip. That is quite a bit of dough too. Not to count the bachelor trips for people's weddings I wasn't in.

 

I will have to say that I may complain a little but all-in-all I know I have been very blessed to have so many friends and family who want me to be a part of one of the most important days of their lives. I do feel honored.

I only have one full sibling, my brother and there is a big age gap between me and my half siblings. I'm rolling with just one as I couldn't begin to narrow it down.

I definitely count myself as lucky for having as many friends as I have to include me in their weddings...haha, but still, +/- $1,600 in tuxes is nuts. The last two weddings I was in, the bridesmaid dresses cost less to BUY than the tuxes cost to RENT FOR ONE NIGHT. Most I spent on a tux for a wedding was $235...but hey, at least they'll let you keep the socks.

Wow. $235 is STEEP. Most I can recall paying is $180 last fall.

Egh...they may gripe a little, they probably won't though. But even if they do, they're really happy to pay for it. Trust me, man.
