Yes, they fall into the district with Central Hardin, Nelson County, Meade County. They would be a #4 seed and would have to play at Trinity in the first round.

I didn't think Dixie's passing game looked crisp tonight.

The line didn't give Pike time to throw. Dixie had problems picking up the blitzing linebacker, and when they did, they let one of the lineman through. I thought #20 for BC had a solid game. He brought Pike down at least 6 times, and Pike is twice his size. Dixie had issues blocking him when he blitzed.

Heard that the Dixie Boy's track team was recognized tonight for winning the regional meet last Spring for the first time since 1957 before the game. Nice job for the school to recognize their track team's success at their Homecoming game.

I have to agree, the way I was looking at it was that the winner between this game would most likely be the NKY 6A district champions.

One Boone touchdown coming on a Dixie special team tackling debacle, allowing a kickoff return.

 

I thought the 38 yard Boone TD pass could've easily been prevented if the Dixie defender would've simply knocked the pass away instead of going for the interception against the taller receiver....hopefully a lesson learned.

 

Cohorn came up with some clutch catches....really nice game for Goose.

Best moment of the game was at halftime. As they announced one young lady and mentioned her post high school aspirations, a recording was played. Her father, who is currently in Iraq, contacted the school and recorded a message for his daughter to be played during the halftime festivities. Both mother and daughter
