As it states, why not try to be a part of the reason their programs turns around, clearly that does not equate to please PT, don't go to another school because UK is clearly turning it around and you're going to be the reason that they do so. Especially when you consider the part before hand which you chose not to highlight that clearly shows that the context of that post was about a persons perspective and not about my own expectations....

 

Fair enough. I doubt anyone's perspective including recruited athletes is anything more than UK will continue to be a bottom feeder in the SEC. Whether PT wants to be a part of that, I wouldn't know. Maybe he wants to lead the state school no matter what, some do go there for that reason. But I can guarantee you that alot don't go because of the state of the program. Again why was asked, I just through out what is a plausible answer

So you assume that he'd rather go to an elite program further away, where his friends aren't going and he has to start from scratch? Not every one has the same desires as what you're saying he should. If he wants to stay at UK that is fine and I wish him luck and will root for him. If he re opens his recruitment and goes elsewhere I wouldn't blame him one bit is all I am pretty much saying.

If I am Patrick Towles there is no way I get involved in that mess in Lexington. I don't care if he is Superman it isn't going to make a bit of a difference with Joker running that team. I know he and his family bleed blue but come on..

Being a UK fan I hope not, but I wouldn't blame him! Newton is Jokers boy, they ran off a five-star QB recruit in Mossakowski, who by the way threw for 5Td's last wk and ran for 2 more...UK is extremely frustrating to watch!

 

As frustrated as I am with UK, I refuse to believe that ANY coaching staff is dumb enough to think that Mossakowski was that much better than Newton... and still wouldnt play him. Newton wasnt the problem vs UofL.

It would be next to impossible for a true freshman QB to come in and start over a senior with close to 20 starts. Especially a 3*.
