As I said after the CCH game last week, I think Boone County is the favorite in 6A now. Good win for the Rebels.

It is a nice win for the Rebs but at the same time is Male really any good at all?

It is good when ever a team from NKY beats a team out of Louisville.

Judging their loss to Western or Eastern or one of the schools I would say no.

 

But I agree, this may be Boone's year to win district.

2 blocked kicks, 2 failed 2-pt conversions. Boone ended the first half inside Male's 1 yard line & the game ended w/ Boone taking knees inside Male's 5. Mix in a couple of dropped TD passes & the failed PAT's and the score could have easily been 50-10. Boone's defense once again looked very, very good. The offense did a much better job of protecting the ball.
