Highlands and Bell County

Featured Replies

It may of looked dry, but it wasn't. Sources tell me that the baseball field since that night has never looked better. I wonder what the heck thier secret is for such green grass. :D

Last I saw it, it had a hint of bluegrass to it.

It's one thing to punch when you're in the right. Another when you're in the wrong. But I don't think we've ever had to do any punching -- simply state the truth.

I think accusations with no evidence is a punch IMO! When you can prove what you are alleging is true then I will say you are in the right. Until then you are not stating the truth.... unless accusations with no evidence = truth at HHS! Pretty shady truth if you ask me! :sssh:

End of discussion until you can back up some of your alleged accusations with hard evidence! Goodnight! :thumb:

It sure looked like bermuda to me. Ohhhhh!!! bluegrass now i get it :D

It is amazing that you guys are still using our field as (nothing more than) an EXCUSE for the way the game went last season. The baseball field does not get used during football season. There are no games being played out there and no one walking around on the field messing it up. It didn't have the wair and tair of the football field. If you guys want to continue trying to make excuses and not realize the truth than go ahead.

Hey you guys had your illegal player in and won the game. So why are you guys complaining?

Is there a reason they don't practice on the baseball field? I know we used to during football season to save the field for games.

I was really hoping that Highlands was going to finally have the chance to play Bell in the Fort on a "level" playing field so all this talk could be put to rest. Although I'm sure with this rival something would have happened just to keep an argument going. Get out the waders Birds, we'll probably play Bell in the playoffs at Bell.

Not really sure why. They do use the baseball field at times, but its never really been there primary practice field. Why.... I have no clue and I played there! They normally use the football field for practice... and at times.... bus over to Old Bell HS and practice on the elementary schools game field. They try to avoid this option for obvious reasons!

The worst part about this rivalry is that they didn't get to meet again!! I think both sides would have been happy to have been able to play in mud, dirt, or a pigpen as long as they got to play :D

And the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round........

Thanks Log Mountain Boy, the circle remains unbroken.

This is for all the past linemen at Bell thats possibly moved away and not heard but the dungeon is dead. Killed by the school system to build a tennis court that will never be used cause its too far for the 6 member team to walk to.
