Wow, I really don't care for your post! Hey, it's your time and yearly dues, so talk all the smack you want to. The thing is that all of us Bird fans don't think or act the same way you do, and here is hoping that other high school BGP'ers on this site and everywhere else know that. However, I have seen enough football to know that it will be another ring with the team they have.

Who cares what "everyone" thinks? Yankees are hated too! I got the impression all of these posts were tongue in cheek anyway!

 

90% of my posts are tongue in cheek but the whiners on here stir me up. They make me chuckle honestly. For some it is there life. Come down to reality and realize it's a message board and it's HS sports.

Speaking of rings, is it true that in 1997 Highlands had already ordered their state title rings before running into CovCath in the now infamous Mud Bowl? This is a rumor I had heard.

I would think my brothers (including me ), would have the guts to make a post like yours , but we have too much class . Really how much guts does it take to post on BGP ?

If you really need to know , yea , I've been to all the games and to the T scrimmage, and I also know enough about football to know that your not state champs until your holding the trophy !

I'm with ya BROTHER. Some of the mushy statements on here about how good the Birds next opponent might be, and if they don't play the best games of their lives is rather comical. BTW, I DID go to Highlands! I also believe that some statements detract from the accomplishments of the past teams. Someone intimating that Dixie "wakes up" and plays well against Highlands, jades the fact that the Birds have whipped Dixie every game in their tremendous run that they are enjoying. Stop the madness!! Time to call it as it is! Go Birds!!
