My bad, its David Cecil Memorial Stadium. I was under the impression they would have all playoff games at home but I believe that was last season.

Honestly though, who is going to come close to beating these Birds. I will say it....Order the Rings....cancel the first 2 rounds of playoffs and go ahead and send up the best team from EKY and then lets have the State game played the day after Thanksgiving like it should be played. This way Basketball doesnt suffer any longer than it has to....you knew I had an alterior motive didnt you all.

You didn't answere my question about being a casual fan , well please explain it to me . Is it you go only to the home games ,when you feel like it and never show up at an away game , only if it's near by ?

 

I'm a real fan . I sit in traffic 45 minutes , just for the home games because of construction in my area , and that doesn't count the time that I'm on the road that isn't under construction . So all the Birds games are away games for me.

 

I don't have any thing personal against you , I just hate things being put out their that could cause a bad reaction to people and future oppenents to have a negative impact on a very positive scool and community .

What is DCM? Highlands will have to travel to play the winner of the probable Boyle/LexCath playoff match up.

 

IMO, Boyle and LexCath are the only teams capable of challenging Highlands. I think LexCath may have the best offense to score with the Birds. I can answer the question a lot better after I see the first Boyle/LexCath match up in October.

 

LexCath barely beat Male this week. Western beat Male last week 18-3. HHS beat Western 56-0..I personally don't see anyone challenging the Birds this year..

I was being facetious in my post regarding Elder. I have been told though that I am somewhat diabolical lol.

 

Let's just move on man. I didn't mean tonged your feathers all ruffled. I just think many times we overreact on here and tiptoe through thentulips too much. Let's call it like we see it. I have a lot of respect for the teams that Highlands plays in fact I often feel sorry for them and wish success for them at times when they are getting their brains beat in.

 

As for the casual fan comment, that just means that I support the team and wish them success because I know many of the boys and their parents. I know a lot of the coaches and how hard they work at it but I don't have the same passion for it like you or LN, Tdyballgame, Sweeperboy, etc because it's not my alma mater. This means I don't feel the need to attend every game , sit in traffic, etc I do like watching them achieve success and I am very impressed by the strong community support. I am a HS sports fan in general and just enjoy it as a whole. I

 

I think the only thing we really are butting heads on here is that you think I am being disrespectful to other teams by making bold claims when that is the farthest thing I am trying to do. I just hate reading the same fluff on here day in and day out. Since I am somewhat the casual fan I feel like I should be able to say that. This means I dont have the strong ties to Highlands like you and your brothers do or LN, etc I respect that and get where you are coming from but hopefully you see where I am coming from as well. In the grand scheme of things it's just HS sports.
