Darnell Dialls had a lot of potential, but he was never all that dominant of a high school player. Tyler Wilkerson, Lafayette's center now, is more consistently dominant.

 

Once again, I posted that my list wasn't the be all-end all, so there would be some guys left off. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone by forgetting anyone.

Yes he was, but if you want to talk talent look at Paintsville's State Championship performers, and less we forget Virgie's Mr. Basketball--Todd May. I would have to argue this young man was by far and away better than anyone else I have seen listed in anyone's reply. :ylsuper:

Not so much as one of the top players. It was more of a 'best of' for each team.

I'd add Jeff Blandon from HC. Also Allen from Bryan Station, can't remember his first name but he had one heck of a tournament in the late '80's.

Come on Latch, your better then this. The thread said the last 25 years and thats pretty simple. 1980 would be the cutoff. As for the previous 25 years Simon Kenton was a member of the 9th region every one of those years. This is their 1st in the 8th I do believe so by all rights they would have to be included. If you don't see the difference I have to believe there is maybe more to it in your opinion anyway.

I keep forgetting that Bryan Station's two letter abbreviation is a word filter violation. Maybe Tony Allen, I can't remember his first name but he was a little guard who could fill it up. Also the big shot blocker from Lafayette, I think it was Josh Lewis????
