I think God cares if his flock isnt allowed to pray and i think a person will have to answer a question God may have when God ask why did you not support prayer and instead side with the non-believer.

I do agree with not having to be seen, but I also dont agree with being able to publicly acknowledge God either. When you punish 99% of the people who want something becasue of one person, what does that teach.

It did keep Bell Co from pregame prayer, did you ever think they may be on the field when it happens.

How I love to read how everyone wants prayer, but how you all keep saying we should do it in private. So much for being a good witness and spreading the word. I love also how you try to sugarcoat it all and make it seem like it is ok to not publically acknowledge God and how it isnt right to go against the poor atheist who dont believe.

There actually was a lawsuit filed over it but I don't know what became of it. The president's inauguration committee had more money to fight a lawsuit than Bell Co Schools.

But legally speaking, what is the difference between the two? Both prayers pastor-led. Both prayers at events sponsored by government (political & public school). Both prayers, I assume, prayed in the name of Jesus (I know Warren's was).

same as illegal immigrants not being sent back, if you are illegal then you are illegal, law says send them back. if one can pray, then why cant all.

The perfect solution that would stand up in court is to have a moment of silence.

 

Anyone who wants to can then pray and those who don't can contemplate.
