Farris is one of the top 5 athletes (any grade) in NKY right now.

 

Is that limited to baseball players?

Correct me if i am wrong but i heard Detkas from Highlands is going to the University of Tampa to play ball. So is he that good, I know nothing about Tampa but im sure they are D-1. So is Detkas considered the top player. IMO i do not think so but is he?

It doesnt hurt to have a father who is a base coach for the Florence Freedom... I am sure he pulled some strings to get the scouts up to watch....and he is a good player from what I hear. I heard he has a cannon for an arm and good bat speed. His Dad was a heckuva player so I am sure it is in the genes. Its the quickest route to the majors....look at guys like Jason LaRue....

What district is Ludlow in now. Because i do believe that they swapped with Beechwood in the 33rd District. And will the competition leave with them with any better of chances going to the tournament more.

 

They're in the 34th with Lloyd, Dixie and Villa.

Agreed. Cory is a stand out player and a 3 sport player. He led his rebels far into the playoffs with rushing over 200 yds twice i believe. Starts in Basketball as a Sophmore started Baseball as a freshman. He's a stand out. Im sure Jefferson and TJ can play the other sports, but they dont. And Cory does and excells in all them.

How many kids leave Ludlow for HC? Seems like a lot.

Not many at all. 1 very talented female athlete (Rachell Lantry) and 1 decent player in Katie Behrens.. Would hardly call that a mad dash for the exit doors at Ludlow.

2/3 at every school. I doubt b-ball at many of the better programs(but he would be a contributor).
