Have they ever been ranked?? Anytime there is a kid decent enough to play, they simply escape to Highlands or NCC and have great careers. Don't know what a "troll" is but I am just outside obsever who does know about Campbells history. Oh yeah, Bishop Brossart is another viable place to run to.:jump:

Since you've began posting you've made negative comments about half or more of Nothern Kentucky schools but no mention of who you support. A message board troll is a person who joins an anonymous message board and makes inflamatory and often non-factual remarks to simply be mean spirited. In other words no real interest in a debate or offering opinion, just an attempt to get a reaction.

Casey hung with 5A Pulaski in scrimmage last week, not sure what that says right now. I guess we'll know after these games start counting this week.

Casey hung with 5A Pulaski in scrimmage last week, not sure what that says right now. I guess we'll know after these games start counting this week.

 

SK will be coming to the Death Valley Bowl with a mean streak! I think they will score at least 50 points then pull the starters.

Please don't remind me of those bad SK teams, that is why I have baby birds. The SK program is much better but Steve will have CC moving forward. SK is no world beaters like one poster would lead you to believe. He has ate enough crow, one would think it was on the McDonalds 99 cent menu.

SK easily, not because they are great but Casey is a program that has struggled for years. They had their best season in history last year and then their coach leaves...Casey rebuilding again this year.

 

I agree partially with you and disagree partially with you. SK should win, but not because Casey is rebuilding. Casey still has the nucleus from last year's team that went 8-4. The "new" coach was part of the building process that led up to last year. (He was gone for off the field reasons last year.) He was brought back because he is familiar with the kids and the program. The Rebels matched up well with Pulaski on Saturday, so I wouldn't write them off just yet. They should be able to compete in 3A.

Wasn't the score 14-7 Pulaski when the teams started using 2nd teamers and JV? I was told that the Casey reserves scored twice to make it 21-14. Not that the Rebels didn't play with the Maroons.

Agreed. Casey has a really tough schedule, but this is no backsliding team. In over its head this week, to be sure, but not a bad team.

 

And Simon Kenton signed on for this bowl after both Casey and Danville were already in place. Two or three other teams had agreed to play, then changed their minds before signing a contract for various reasons. Lincoln needed a fourth for its bowl; SK needed a game. SK will play Danville there next year, by the way.

They had a QB that was talented back when Alexander was at BC that may have been as good as the young man they had last year. Can't remember his name. That may have been there best team ever, talking about bad luck!
