Until I noticed others mentioned the old full site in this thread I did not know that was still an option. I tired to go to the full sight and all I can get after several tries is the header. It always take up to a minute, maybe a little more at times, for a forum to load, up to 30 seconds to get into a thread. Now, at times when I go to a thread I only get what is on the screen, such as the boys basketball, I only get to the end of the first sticky, this happens at times when I exit a thread to go back to the forum.

 

I have an iPhone 3g.

I can't get to any page once I get to the main forum page. I cleared my history, cookies, and cache but still get the "error loading message". I tried to log-in but also get the same message. For testing purposes I went to two other forums and was able to load both of those. I have a iPhone 3GS through AT&T.

 

I was having the same problem when clicking on forum on the main page. I have had no problems since I started clicking on enter bluegrasspreps (not sure the exact wording). The site works fine on my 3GS.

I have an Iphone 3GS. When I try to load full site it does but it's the bluegrasspreps home page. When I then try to go to the forums it loads the mobile website. I haven't really had any issues with the mobile site other than being slow.

I was finally able to log in today, Android, 2.3.3 software. Page was fast and I had no issues.

 

The Search option Ram listed above was pretty easy and not to be difficult but I can't imagine having to do it every time I visit the page. I mean, I would if that's what it took b/c its light years better than going through all the forums, but still....

 

The link to the full site takes you to the home page and then if you click forum it goes right back to the mobile forum. Is it even possible to have that go to the full forum to give people the option of the mobile page or the full forum page?

 

UPDATE: I did find a problem. When you click on the Full Site button at the bottom of the Mobile page it takes you to the bgp.com home page. When you click on forum from there it takes me to the mobile page again but it does not recognize me any longer and I am not logged in automatically. And when I try to hit the Log In button it just says "Error Loading Page" and I can't get past there. Have to go back to my bookmark to log in. When I do I am recognized and logged in automatically and can see everything.

Still takes me to the full site. Is there an address I can type that takes me to the mobile version?

This post here is 100% accurate with my experience with the mobile platform. I have a 3G as well.

 

I'll add that sometimes the mobile site completely crashes and takes me completely out of my browser(safari on the iPhone). I have to copy my posts after each sentence because it keeps crashing while I am making a comment.

 

I can no longer access the full site from my phone either. Like others have mentioned, I'll get to the home page but afte I enter BGP it brings me back to the mobile site.

Same with me the last 2 days(other than it being a Torch).

This is still a work in progress and there is supposed to be an upgrade/bug fix in the software when the next version of vbulletin software is released. So, many of our issues may be solved then. In the mean time what problems are people still having? And if you see a problem you had (and solved) please share it with everyone.

 

I did have someone contact me today and state the following:

 

"I have an Iphone4, and can't go from the mobile site to the full site."

I had the same problem with my droid.

I am unable to post links from my phone.

That's a new issue that I haven't tried. Has anyone tried to, and successfully, posted a link from the mobile site?

I followed this advice and it's now working for me. Never even noticed the "Enter Bluegrasspreps.com" at the bottom. With a PC I've alway just chosen the forum I wanted to go to from drop down. I carried that over to my phones.

Me too. But when I go this way I'm able to actually access the mobile site. Going the other way doesn't allow me to access any site.
