While I'm not a Tea Party fan, in fact I'm pretty tired of ALL politicians, I think you're willing to forget all the years of the unwillingness to compromise in Washington.

 

Back to the thread, I think it's really poor when the Vice President engages in such deplorable behavior as to call others that disagree with their ideology terrorists. I also feel that if it were Tea Party members or someone from the GOP calling Obama or other Democrats terrorists, you guys would be calling for their immediate dismissal.

 

Just to clarify, while I am anti-GOP, there is a reason I abandoned the Democratic Party. I'm calling for all of their dismissal — everyone in the House, Senate and Executive branch — whether they engage in stupid hyperbole and name-calling across the aisle or not.

 

The Tea Party caucus, however, has taken it to another level that has shocked even Mitch "Negative Nancy" McConnell.

I find it amusing that everyone has turned sour on the same old Washington crap yet when a few new faces (like everyone wanted) try to make a change everyone is jumping on them telling them they need to get in line. The "new" Washington everyone wanted looks like the old Washington everyone hated. The TP'ers were doing exactly what they promised they would do and those promises were why they were elected. Compromise is what got us in the current situation and more compromise hasn't fix squat.

Exactly! Like I said, I'm not a Tea Party member but they have stood their ground much more than President Obama has on their promises.

Maybe, just maybe Obama's civility speech was meant for Joe Wilson(called Obama a liar during healthcare speech), Pat Buchanan(called Obama 'your boy' when talking to Al Sharpton), Nick Antosca(called Obama 'boy), Marilyn Davenport(Obama chimpanzee email) and David Lamborn(referenced Obama to a tar baby).

 

Say what you want about Bush being disrespected in office. The level of disrespect and the racial connotations in that disrespect towards Obama is troubling. Especially from a bunch of men and women who should know better.
