Henry, sorry it has taken me a while to post about the article in the paper. It was really nice, just hit on a BAD day for me. I had not had a really good cry after our loss to LexCath (Z's injury had taken center stage for me) but the Friday of your game with them was having real potential to be the day. I was having a gift wrapped at the new Crestview Hills Town Center. Football is such a priority, it was my first trip there. The Post was delivered while I was standing waiting, I looked down, while I was extremely pleased for you, the tears just began to roll down my face. It took me a few days to read the article. Carry on the tradition!!!!

Thanks, I know how you feel. I cried when I read the article also, and then again that night after the game. Bittersweet day. Nice to know we shared a good cry that day. :thumb:

All have been great athletes. One played B. Ball at Ohio State back in I think the 70's and great football players and wrestlers as well.

I believe the kid that plays basketball at June Buchannan is from this family tree.

Is Brady the Jeff's son? How old is the little Rock?

Around 4 years old or so.

There has been a lot of Gordon's come through South Oldham in the last 18 years. But the supply has stopped for awhile.

Will Fidler has 3 half brothers, Rob, Eric, & Alex Egan, that all played at Souther Illinios. Rob also played at Alabama before transfering to SIU. They are all a cousin of Luke Petitgout.

From BGHS:

The Reynolds - Robert is currently in the NFL with the Titans and won a national championship at Ohio State. His brother Patrick was an All-American at WKU And won a national championship in the same year.

The Beards - Cousins of the Reynolds, Monie and his brother Ralph were actually graduates of Male. Ralph was a key member of Rupp's greatest run at UK. Monie's sons Roy and Doug were both great athletes at BGHS. Roy's sons, Chuck, Drew and Austin were and are all fine players with Chuck and Drew having played at Centre and Austin is a Sr. at BG. Doug's son Ryan just finished at BG and signed a scholarship at WKU after finishing as an All-State DB.

Proud to say I know at least one member of (almost) all of those families. :thumb:

Sounds like attendance in the late 70's at HHS. Proud to know I cheered for most of the 06's dad's down the field...If I had a son, I would definitely have raised him in Ft.T!!!!!
