Im a high shooter, 7 ip, 1 Er, 5Ks, 2 BB...He has started a few big league games before and has pretty great career minor league numbers...Was a top prospect for the Stros, always struggles throwing strikes when getting his chance in the bigs...Im going to say this time around he settles down and pitches a gem...
May 31, 201115 yr Most overrated pitcher in baseball. By a far margin. He's also a giant tool. Was at the game last night. Got there early enough to see Brewers BP. We had seats 3 rows back in RF. Greinke was one of the Brew Crew in RF during BP. Every time he would get a ball, he'd turn to the stands, and fake throwing it to the fans then turn around and chuck it in to the ball guy. Almost every other player that got a ball near the wall was throwing them up to the fans and joking around with people. Just unnecessary IMO. He is a weird bird that is for sure.
May 31, 201115 yr I was just about to ask everyone what they thought about Thom. It seems like every game he makes some very strong comment that is just not right. One game last week he was commenting about how the hitter that was up could walk to first base if he bunted down the first base line. And the first baseman was holding on a runner at the time. Huh? Last night they went on and on about how Gomes is really a good outfielder. Said that he was labeled due to being a DH in the American League. Just plain stupid

May 31, 201115 yr Jay Bruce should be the picture of "do not rush a player by YOUR expectations vs what is realistic." Kid got hammered last year and the previous year yet he was only 22 or 23. Kid is still a baby by MLB terms.

He makes some good comments on occasion and usually doesn't make any stupid comments, although the talk about Gomes defense last night was a little over the edge. Welsh doesn't bother me and neither does the Cowboy. But Thom has been getting on my nerves this year. Trying to follow in pop's shoes by speaking his mind but what is coming out of his mind just ain't right.
