Here is a question. How can one runner run five events? Three indiividual and two relays. I was under the impression, runners could only run four events.

Because she is AC from Highlands. LOL. AC was unbelievable yesterday. That girl was deterrmined and used her experience and Sr leadership to lead a very talented Highlands team to their 4th Straight title. Congrats to all of the Highlands girls and coaches, it wasnt a pretty win or a dominating win but it was a WIN.

They are certainly keeping up with the football team stride for stride (okay, that was a bad pun). While the L:ady Birds will certainly miss Ashley and the other seniors, there are a lot of really talented runners and field event participants that will be returning next year. Lady Birds should again be a contender.

Congrats to Highlands on thsi, but I too am curious about how she was allowed to run in five events. In other threads, I thought slick told us that 4 was the maximum for most meets, including state. Some elite meets like the one at Dixie allowed more.

Ahsley Collinsworth ran the 100h 100 400 and the 4x400 they announced at the meet she ran the 4x200 anchor , that was ran by Maria Weyer. There is no rules that were changed only allowed in 4 events

Ashley is a stud, I wish I could have been there to see her perform so well in this event. Congrats to Ashley and the entire team on their victories.

Figures it had to be something like that. Sometimes the names that appear on the website are those that are submitted by coaches and not necessarily the actual participants.
