Can somebody please explain what the cry baby Duncan had to cry about at the end of the game? Other than his former ace sucks this year.

LRCW, you just explained it. That along with LaRussa will probably blame him for the series.

If he thinks Co Co hit Pujols on purpose in that situation, with 2 strikes on him, then he's an IDIOT!!!

Yes he is. We have the reason. :D

:cry::lol:

Who else is looking foward to the series on the 4th of July??

Where are all the Cordero haters this year?

He's been awesome all year long.

Big 4 games at home this week before a rough road trip.

I have been as critical of CoCo as anyone but my biggest fault was that I thought he picked around the corners too much and got into hitter's counts too often. He seems to be challenging hitters more and throwing some different pitches instead of going fastball, slider all the time. I still hold my breath when he comes in but overall I am more pleased with his performances this year.

I LOVE the fact that these two do NOT like each other. Beautiful - and the way baseball should be. Loved the slide by Pujols at 2nd as well.

I watched the replay several times and I think that Janish is going to get Phillips killed if he doesn't get him the ball quicker on those type plays. He did the same thing to him yesterday with the same result.

Right now anyway there is NO situation that imo you can put Chapman in. I am not saying give up on Chapman but he obviously cannot throw the ball over the plate now. Send him down to let him get some things worked out. Part of the problem imo is that everyone was crowning him the next Koufax or somthing.

Chapman needs to go to Louisville to work out his problem. They can't keep running him out there at this level. They easily could have lost those 2 games that he pitched in this week. The Red's brass has to reconsider the idea of moving him. He is doing the team no good the way he is.

I went back, and watched the replay after your comments. How quick do you expect Janish to get the ball to him. He took one step, and underhanded the ball to Phillips. He was to close to throw it. Phillips had plenty of time to get the throw way. I'm not really sure what you expect.

What was Coco all fired up about? Beside the win of course.

He was being yelled at by Gerald Laird after he hit Pujols. I loved Co Co's comments after the game. He said “I think it was because I hit Pujols 0-2, Gerald Laird was all loud in the dugout. He was yelling at me and pointing at me and saying a whole bunch of stuff. Out of all the guys that are great hitters, great players, Gerald Laird doesn’t even play. He’s the one yelling at me because I hit Pujols 0-2. 0-2! I wasn’t trying to him. “I’ve got to face Holliday next, who can take the lead with one swing, one of the best hitters in the NL, and he’s yelling at me. All I know is he was loud, so I say something back to him.

“I’ve got nothing against the Cardinals. I’ve been in this game a long time and I won’t disrespect anybody. I look in the duout, Pujols was sitting down, he was quiet, because he knows I wasn’t trying to hit him. This stuff happens.”

Laird was yelling at Coco about Pujols getting hit and Coco was yelling back at them and I guess that is where Duncan came in. If they really think he hit him on purpose they are idiots.

I agree with a post earlier that someone is getting plunked in St. Louis.

You can't make this stuff up.

"A poorly conditioned mound bothered Chris Carpenter in the first inning"--St Louis Post Dispatch

"Lingering smoke from fireworks celebrating Ramon Hernandez' home run irritated him in the third"--St Louis Post Dispatch
