May 14, 201115 yr I agree with how Cal conducted his visit, instead of touring the facility’s and dorms in an attempt to sell him the upside of UK, he had to sell himself to the HC, AD and Pres of the university. With that said I hope UK doesn’t offer this kid, not enough upside IMO...

May 15, 201115 yr From what I know and have heard of him as a person whatever happened was out of character even if it was also over exaggerated. As a player I never thought he was the prospect the national guys did. Similar to Eloy Vargas really in that as a mobile big there is always some level how good they MIGHT be factored in. I'd likely pass, but it wouldn't be an easy decision to pass if he wanted to come in...

Miller, Vargas, Hood, Poole, Lamb, Jones, Davis, Gilchrist, Teague, and Wiltjer. That means they have three more, if my math is right. If Lacey comes then that means they have two more.
May 16, 201115 yr I think Woods is worth taking a chance whoever gets him. He is 6'11 and athletic. He is changing his mind on UL for two reason. 1) Tim Fuller left. 2) UL has some quality kids at the 5 spot and he don't want to compete for the job./ Thought is would be easier with Fuller on staff. UK - who wouldn't want to play there. Cal has it going on. Texas - gets him because he could get a lot of minutes right away because of the need for a big guy.
May 16, 201115 yr Sign him he deserves a second chance Mitch is OK with it and UK needs another big. I agree. If Cal and Mitch clear him, I'm good with that. If they don't, let him move on.
