Votto 1B

Phillips 2B

Bruce RF

Rolen 3B

Janish SS

If you like Lewis in the leadoff, I'd rather have Phillips back in the two hole and move Stubbs further down to get some speed toward the end. Plus if I'm not mistaken, Stubbs is leading the team in RBI's.

This series is a crucial one for the Reds, not as much for the seasons end standings bc it is still May and the Reds are not that far back now. I think it is more important foe the team mindset in imo they need the confidence that they can beat St. Louis. True, the Reds won the division last year with getting dominated by the Cardinals, I don't think that will happen this season. JMO.

Cincy needs to send a message this weekend. I just hope the message is not they still can't beat St. Louis.

Good to see Rolen back in the lineup.

Have the Reds not made any moves? I thought they had to activate that pitcher from rehab. I don't see have they can continue with Gomes, Chapman and Volquez on the roster. Three or four years ago The Reds could have but now they have better options.

Couldn't have said it better ! :thumb:

Dusty please play Lewis more atleast against righties...Gotta love him going the other way too many pull hitters on this team...31Doubles 5 Triples 8 Hrs 17 SB last year guy can play a bit...

This team is scared to death of the Cardinals. They make mistakes you wouldn't see high schoolers make whenever they play.

Renters needs to be moved from the 2 hole. Next inning will be the 7th time in the past 3 games Votto has had to lead off an inning. Speaking of Renteria, why is he playing? Where the heck is Janish?
