April 13, 201115 yr Courier-Journal reporting Louisville assistant is leaving to join Missouri with new coach Frank Haith. Two assistants in two days out at UofL. Will Purvis remain committed to the Cards. Fuller is the one wh got him to committ to UofL.

If he does re open I look for him to be a Cat if Cal can get him away from the Carolina schools. But a two year out of school rule may put that in doubt because it would mean Teague would be back. You want Purvis on your team regardless but not sure how well a back court of Teague and Purvis would work together, they both do about the same things.
April 13, 201115 yr Is it possible that the Richard Pitino return was brought on by the necessity of getting a young face back onto recruiting immediately since Fuller and Masiello both departed? I've pretty well resigned myself to the notion that keeping Purvis is now going to be a very difficult task. We climbed into bed with the Nike people by going with Fuller, but Louisville's not a Nike school and never will be. I hate all this... I really do. As my favorite Louisville blogger would say: "Recruiting is creepy."
