Next year's top qbs

JJ Hesch from Newport will be another good one. He will be losing 2 WR's, TE, and a running back and almost the whole front 5 but he'll still be a good one.

I didn't realize he had another year! He's been good for 2 years now.

Cashen Corbin

Allthough only a Junior next year will be one of the top in the state. By his senior year, probably the best in the state.

Chaz Hope of Madison Central, although will just be a junior in 2006, will be a good one by the time he is a senior in 2007.

I'm kind of partial to Josh Bleser from Cov Cath. He has quite an arm, which should work well with the spread offense.

Beat me to it, I don't think he runs as much as Ellison did (I could be wrong), so he'll be able to just sit in the pocket and pick defenses apart. He has a great arm

How tall is he?

He is short...5'8"...maybe..but you can't argue with his production. While I am certainly not a Trinity supporter....I do think this kid is good....I just do not believe ,as some Rocks do, that he is the second coming of Brian Brohm. Height has been the main knock against this guy....Maybe we should ask Doug Flutie if it can be overcome.

:thumb: :thumb: He won't be the same running threat that Drew was, but Josh's arm is better. We'll be able to utilize the offense different from the way we did this year.

The Petrino/Brohm talk is insane. While Nick had a fine year this year, it pales in comparison to Brian's junior year (45 TDs, 1 int., undefeated, a win over Elder and a state championship). Many doubted Nick before the season started, nobody ever doubted Brian. I stated before the season that Nick would do a fine job and he has. He has led the team well. The kid is football savvy, has a good arm, he is a pretty nifty runner and he just never quits. A lot of kids would have hung their head in the Manual game after a fumble and a int. for a TD. But Petrino kept battling back. He ran one in breaking what seemed like a dozen tackles. Then he threw a great ball to Steve with the Manual D bearing down on him for 73 yard TD to win the game. Honestly, I had about given up. Luckily, Nick never did.

He's a great HS QB.

Cody "The Rocket" Andrews from Scott Co. It would be nice to see Coach Mckee let him throw the ball a little more next year.

:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: I'll second that one , he has a BIG TIME arm and should be fun to watch in the spread offense ! :ylsuper: He'll have some very good WR's to throw to also ! :thumb:

who are the best qb's of the class of 07?

I'll put Joey Bricking from Dixie as one of the Best QB's for the next two yr's! He really came on this year as a Soph. and should only get better ! :thumb: A big plus for Dixie, is most of the offense is back next year and they have a very good group of WR's and RB's ! :thumb: Joey B has a very strong and accurate arm , with off season work he could put up BIG numbers next year ! :thumb: But the OFF SEASON will make you or break you !!! :thumb:

I am surprised no one has mentioned Victor Anderson. He will take over the QB position for X next year. I see them running a two QB system, sliding him over to RB every couple of series. No one in the State will come close to having the game changing effect that Vic will have at QB. He has one heck of an arm and everyone already knows he can take any snap the length of the field if the D is not paying attention.

You really think Vic will play QB?

I thought that what's his name, Zoeller, was a real up and comer.
