I have been saying for the past week it is going to take a great team to beat NCC if Maysfield is that team ill be on here sunday with a :thumb: .

Good luck to all involved in this game it has been a great year for both programs.

That break down seems a little biased. New Cath coach 1-4 in finals. Mayfields head and assistant coach who used to be head coach 5-5 with 2-0 record over New Cath in finals, EDGE EVEN?

Isn't NCC's coach the all-time leader in wins in the state? I would think that would/should offset his/their finals record.

I have no idea, I was just going by what I read in that article. But Either way, my prediction is................

Mayfield-24

NCC-21

Jack Morris , Joe's dad is in the Ky HS Hall of Fame, with over 200 wins himself and 4 state championships...Him being on that sideline is a big bonus...They also have Joe's brother and Jacks other son, David , who has head coaching experience, calling the plays from upstairs and then throw in Brad Lawson calling the defensive sets and you've got a very formidable staff..They may lose, but, it won't be from poor coaching.

In addition, many NCC faithful have called for Edge's head, not just this year, but, in past years, for his poor play calling, and many hope he wins and goes ahead and retires. He may be a great man, but, I'm only going by what I hear

and alltime wins only shows longevity, not neccessarily success, and 40 years is definately longevity..

Schneider, not Edge..

This game will go to Mayfield.....but a close one. :fight:

Edgar Cayce you are not .

wildcatjack, David Morris no longer coaches at Mayfield...he took a sales job out of education. He was replaced by Cliff Dew and Joe Waller have joined the Mayfield staff...both are very good coaches!
