Who wins this one and why?

Once again I think the status of Kiernan for NCC (who did not dress for Somerset) is a key element in this one.

I am done guessing I can't wait for this one i believe this will be a fight to the end. Hope NCC can pull out the win. Just like the other 2 teams we played there was no way to tell they looked the same on paper so we will see ya at the big dance on friday may the best team win.

I voted for Mayfield for obvious reasons, I am biased! To tell the truth I dont no much about NCC, I've been taking things 1 game at a time and I bet few NCC or Cards fans know much about the other this early on. I will study up and give my take. I can say this though, Mayfield is playing really good football right now and it will take a awfully good football team to beat them right now.

You know that I'm a Beechwood fan but this New Cath team is playing some awesome football right now. It will be a great game. Does anyone know if the Louisvlle station of ICN6 will brodcast all the games live like they did last year???

Probably just an oversight....but the game is Saturday night at 7:30pm EST...and this game should be a dandy...as two great teams and two great defenses....hopefully they will play a classic like the ones in 85 and 86...and with the same results...but will be tough for both teams...

NCC hasn't faced a team with Mayfield's size on the lines and in the backfield this year so that match-up will be an unknown. Not sure if Mayfield has faced a no-huddle spread offense with 4 or 5 receivers so that could be interesting too.

We have seen teams that has tried to spread us out but I will venture to say that they were nowhere near as well as what the 'Breds run...should be fun to watch...best of luck to both teams and lets hope that they both bring their A-game and let the chips fall where they may...should be fun

What about the field turf factor? Seems poster on here have commented that NCC should have been moving playoff games to turf fields to take advantage of their speed, but I don't remember NCC having much success on turf with losses to Beechwood and CovCath on that surface. Has Mayfield played on field turf?
