February 27, 201115 yr It may have taken overtime and been kind of ugly, but at least the Cardinals continued their conference winning streak at home. It's not an easy thing for anyone to still be undefeated at home in the Big East or in other conferences. A win is a win and I'm very happy; go Cards!!!

Cards had a 3 point lead with about 11 seconds to go in OT, Pitt missed a shot, Cards rebounded avoided the foul and dished to Marra with time running out. Instead of running out the clock, he jams it home with about .5 seconds on the clock, the ball bounces on the court over toward the cheer squad. A male cheerleader thought the game was over, walked on the court, picked up the ball and chucked it in the air. A technical was called, and Pitt hit their shots and actually had a chance to tie by inbounding.

February 27, 201115 yr Cannot believe Local CBS affliate (WKRC) cut away to the start of the OSU/IU game. Horrible. You should ALWAYS stay with an OT game with two ranked opponents vs. going with a game with an unranked opponent. Hate getting the Cincinnati stations, they have made horrible gaffes in the past. The could have at least gone with a split screen.
February 27, 201115 yr Cards really crashed the offensive glass hard today, had more offensive rebounds than the #2 rebounding team in the country. More assists, fewer turnovers, better free throw%, but ice cold shooting, less than 40% and only 16% from 3. Knowles and Jennings were really off today.

It was a college kid making a stupid mistake. BTW, I don't blame Kuric for slamming it home either. I think that's what most college athletes would have done.
