Not when you look at who is in their district or at least the current alignment. But it is what it is, not their fault. And I am not saying that they wouldn't have but up impressive numbers in a tougher district. Love them or hate them they have been as consistant a program as anybody in the state.

What an effort for Augusta tonight. They did not give up. This game was ten points at the half. Good luck to Coach Kelsch and the panthers in region!

Try and remember the 3 schools in this district with them are class A.

Coach Kelsch had this team ready to play. Augusta gave Mason Co everything they wanted.

Good luck to Coach K and the Panthers.

And the score was 72-45?

Game was ten points at the half. Augusta gave it 110%. They were outmatched but battled Mason Co to the end.

On another note good to see Neal Pawat starting tonight!

I had no idea but I am still impressed with those numbers.

Augusta has nothing to be ashamed of, go and make your school and fans proud.

Augusta was overmatched and outmanned, but still stayed with Mason County for a half. Royals had a hard time converting Panther turnovers into points. Second half a different story as Mason went on something like a 15-0 or 15-2 run to ice the game early in the third quarter.

Nice to see Pawsat get so many minutes tonight. Pretty sure he played the entire first quarter; sat out the beginning of the 2nd but came in at the 6:18 mark and played the rest of the quarter. Saw a lot of action in the second half as well.

Great Augusta effort. Rebounds were 40-37 Mason County which shows Augusta's effort. Good luck to both teams in the region.

Augusta played for a half, Mason turned the Panthers over constantly in that half but weren't able to knock down shots when opportunities exist which sometimes happens. That was the only reason Augusta was that close in the half. Fraysure did all he could in the 1st half to keep his team close but that wore the guy out as well. Augusta could never give Mason all they wanted when the final score was 72-45, are you kidding me with this statement?

I think I heard where he played 25 minutes in the game, he just makes this team better when he is on the court. You could take away his 10 points that he had, and you could say he still played a great game the way he sets other players up, how he reads the ball coming off the rim for a rebound, the way he directs the defense out on the floor. The kid is so intelligent and just a winner!
