Not to thread jack, but they are coming in in the perfect year. Each team in the district took some huge losses from graduation this year.

 

Beechwood did not have huge losses. Sorry. Losses? Yes. Huge, not so much.

Just a friend of the whole program. If you ever played football or even understood how the game is played or coached you might understand how this time of year is a HUGE advantage!

 

I understand that this time can be a huge advantage, but if I'm not mistaken, it has been said that the off season weight program is being run by Eckstein and other assistants. Plus as long as I've been following Brossart, I don't think Bellevue has ever done spring practice. So I'm not sure what the huge disadvantage is right now.

I have heard that a couple boys that played in the Bellevue Youth league but attended Highlands will be suiting up for the Tigers next season. One will be a JR and was a key defensive lineman on the Birds frosh championship team 2 seasons ago. He was injured most of his sophomore season. The kid is built like a fireplug and could definitely open some holes for RB's as a FB.

 

The other young man will be a frosh and led the SR Tigers to the NKYFL Superbowl last season as their QB.

Pangallo is no longer at HMS? If so I guess he wanted to still play qb. With Hoge and Ramey it would be tough for him to get on the field at the qb position..

Not the case at all. He might be finishing up the yr at HMS but living arrangements put him at Bellevue the same way they do for Lowry.

If what you are implying here is true...there must be a candidate (according to your sources...still not sure how reliable they are). That being said, I may just have to talk to the citizens of Fort Thomas and Bellevue to organize a month long ticker-tape parade. Proposed parade route would start at Ft. Thomas city building right down Memorial Parkway onto Taylor Avenue in Bellevue past Gilligan Stadium to BHS and end at Bellevue City Building.

This is huge. One of my biggest pet peeves was the development of players on the Bellevue teams (NKYFL) that would NEVER wear a Bellevue football uniform. While kids who would be playing at Bellevue sat behind them or got moved to other positions knowing that down the road that particular player would have to be a QB.
