February 22, 201115 yr The ribs thread got me thinking, since I plan on going again in the near future, what are the best restaurants you've been to in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge? Not just ribs, but everything? I need some new places to try. My favorites are Applewood's, Bennett's, Calhoun's, The Alamo Steakhouse, Old Mill Restaurant and No Way Jose's. How about you?
February 22, 201115 yr I was there for a softball tourney. I seem to remember a brewery that had really good pizza.
February 23, 201115 yr Cherokee Grill (I recommend the Prosperity steak) Best Little Italian (or Best Italian) Restaurant, it's set back off of River Rd. Calhoun's (I recommend the Steak Calhoun) Texas Roadhouse has always been good Greenbriar was a unique experience and food wasn't bad
February 23, 201115 yr The Peddlers Inn was ok, but was expensive for the steak we received. We only ate their once. The salad bar was good. There is a pizza/brewery near stop light 10 and the food was pretty good, although I can't remember the name. We met family the first night we arrived to have dinner.
February 23, 201115 yr Chop House is our favorite place to go. For the money you cant beat the dixie stampede where you get an outstanding meal and a show as well. I would also recommend getting on restaurant.com and getting a gift certificate. Most of the time you can get a 25$ certificate for 2 or 3 bucks and its legite. You can also browse the restaurants in that area, I belive Peddlars is one of the places you can go.

February 23, 201115 yr For a great cheap breakfast hit the Log Cabin Pancake house, they have 2 locations but the one on airport road in Gatlinburg is much better.

It's a bit by itself, and when we found it, we were literally the only people in the parking lot, but it was delicious! By the time we were done, the place had filled up, so maybe we just got there at a weird time. :idunno:
February 23, 201115 yr Long time since we've been there. Our favorite was the Old Mill down in Pigeon Forge.
February 23, 201115 yr Apple Barn down in Pigeon Forge is a tradition every time we're down there....Love that Apple Butter. Yum!
