Congrats to Cards on the win,Great effort Royals keep that up and get healthy and i gurantee you were going back to Rupp!!!Gilbert got a head injury early in the 2nd quarter and was out the rest game but will be fine,Pawsat is on road to recovery and Setty has had flu all week only been school once this week and thats why he did'nt start..The much smaller Royals got 12 to 8 on the offensive boards on the Cards...Like i said we get healthy over next 10 days i really like our chances as this was a 1 point game mid 4th and thats without 2 main starters and setty with flu!!!Good luck to both teams rest way..

Danny Weddle is outstanding, best in the state!

I agree , great guy and a great announcer.

Do Clark County fans realize that if Mason County just hits maybe 6 shots at crucial times in the 4th quarter, they lose this game to a team without Gilbert and Pawsat? Are you kidding me? This team looked identical to last year's regional final team and the team before that and the team before that, I would have swore they got out rebounded(they didn't), but it seemed like it. IF and that's a big IF these 2 teams play in the finals again and Mason has Pawsat,Gilbert and a healthy Setty, Clark County will have to change those warmup outfits that say 212 to 044 for next season
38 31 was the boards but Mason got them on the offensive boards 12 to 8...
And how many times did you say you watched GRC play???? So off of one game you determined they were soft. This "SOFT" team has played and beat the No. 5,6,8,9,11,and 12 teams in the state and lost to the No 10 team by a point. 4 of those teams were from the 11th region which is also one of the most physical regions as far as the style most of the teams in it play. Grc's main weakness is that they dont force teams to play at their tempo so they can impose their size and strength advantage. They are not a soft team.

One game and thanks for making my point stand out, I don't care how many ranked teams you play you bring many games like that to the regional and you may leave empty handed AGAIN.

WOW! Setty best in the Region? Mason not out of it yet? Mason has a very good coach who gets the most out of his team. Setty is lazy on defense and he was not able to single handedly beat GRC so his skills are above average, but at 6'9" in a high school game you would hope he could score, Pawsett may play in the regional game but he will not be in end of the season shape so he will probably be a non-factor. Give it up Royals, GRC is the team to beat and they beat you by 13 at home ! I'll give it to you guys though, I love your optimism!

Sorry to disagree with you. Pawsat (as much as like him and follow his football) is not the missing piece in this team. Lot's of great push backs to GRC 10 pt leads, and Mason showed what it is all about when playing fundamental basketball. Setty was spectacular tonight, no denying that, but this team didn't beat GRC tonight, and won't be GRC in the finals of the regional with a fully healthy team.

We shall see,Just remember we was without 2 key starters here and it was 1 point in the 4th!Clark still looks tired at times and very tight at times and one other thing all the pressures on you this time we have nothing to loose this go round you guys everything....And to call Treg lazy what about Zollo what a disappoint at 6'8 what he have 3 come on...

And when the game started it was 0 - 0! Zollo had a bad game, we still won! No one is touting him as the best in the region!:sssh:

Its amazing how yesterday this game didnt mean anything. It was a regular season game. Now all of a sudden since it went well and the score wasnt as bad as most thought it would be, this game is a direct indicator of how a possible second matchup would turnout. I guess Grc shouldnt even make the trip to Maysville if they get out of the district. No reason to waste their time.

Zollo's game wasn't (offensievely) one of his more impressive games, but his rebounding was. That was a huge difference for his contribution to the team effort. I agree also that they seems tight and when they were up by 10 both times, they coudln;t really turn it on and blast the gym doors off.

Guys the only reason I went to this game was to see Mason get drubbed and I'm hear to tell ya I left disappointed. You can't be feeling good right now if your a Clark fan.

Rogers was an awesome game. Daniels pushed strong late for 20+. He is going to go on another tear soone and shoot into the 30s. I am still waiting or another Travis Purvis game where he lights it u.

I feel good. I would say that there are quite a few GRC fans that feel good about right now.
