Morrow loses NFHS defined coaching box rules for three contests and is confined to the team’s bench;

He will also appear as a presenter at the 2011 HYPE Student Leadership Conference and discuss the subject of dealing with the consequences of taking action without first regaining composure during stressful times.

When did this occur? During the Louisville Invitational?

Not familiar with the circumstances but, did the coach have a legit beef or not on the controversial call? Secondly, it doesn't matter who or what you are, you don't criticize anyone in a public manner when it comes to athletics. Coaches and Administrators are public figures and should behave accordingly when it comes to these situations. I'm glad that the KHSAA has stepped in and acted on Coach Morrow. Having said that, if he had a legit beef with the official, what actions did the kHSAA impose on he/she?

Don't make someone do something if all it is going to be is "lip service."

They won't do that...he wins.

 

Having seen Coach Morrow in action. I am not surprised he flipped out. It's his style...like other things he does so well! :lol:

He makes it so easy to be on my Top 5 Do Not Like Coach List! :lol:

One ref said later that they were going to get together to discuss whether or not the basket should be good or not, but the way Morrow acted - inciting the fans and waving his coat like a lunatic - they had to leave the court.

If that is true, then that was lame of the officials. Let's get the call correct, not worry about the way he was acting. Sounds like an after the fact excuse on why they missed the call. I just don't understand how officials don't automatically huddle after a last second shot to see what everybody had before leaving the court. Same thing occurred last year in Henry Clay - Franklin County game. Technology obviously won'[ allow instant replay, but at least discuss it.

 

Having said all that, it doesn't excuse Morrow for acting like a fool and he should be in trouble for acting like that. But, what I don't get is if a coach gets ejected, he gets a two-game suspension. These comments -- albeit off the court -- would have constituted something similar, so I think he should have been suspended two games.

He had to be escorted by police off the court after the LIT contest with Bullitt East.

I was wondering why he was sitting down on the bench at last night's game.It was mandated.It is unbelievable what he gets away with!!!

The KHSAA needs to do a better job of getting good officials because there is so few of them.
