C'mon...give the guy a break....or Louisville...either way.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him succeed anywhere calling offensive plays; he just wasn't meant to be a head coach.

Wow! I really like Coach K. I know some U of L people who think the world of him and how he is a real class act. But LSU, well I just don't know if I can pull for them. Maybe to score 35 but give up 40.

If I'm an LSU diehard, I have little faith in this hire. Frankly, I laughed heartily when I saw it flash across the ticker.

 

You people who latched on to him latched on to him for all the wrong reasons, and those reasons had little to do with coaching ability. Being a great guy does not equal being a good coach. Alabama Larry, on the other hand, should be loving this hire.

Krags - "Uh, coach....it's 4th & 5 from our own 25....so punt?"

Miles - "Punt? So you're saying you got nothing?...Okay, we're going it! I'm feeling squirrely!" (As he grazes on some freshly pulled field grass).

He is a good college football coach and will do a nice job at LSU.

 

Oh, and a very nice guy who is the kind of guy you want to succeed.

There absolutely horrid on offense all year this year with the exception of the bowl game when they were able to put everything together. They let their OC go this year as they didn't feel the team was going in the right direction there and now have made this higher. Cut him a little slack and lets see what he can do as an OC as opposed to HC.

I have nothing against Krags, and Les is far and away my favorite college coach. He's one crazy dude though.

A lot of guys that study the game say that not punting on fourth down is actually the right move from most spots on the field. Maybe Les is indoctrined in this line of thinking.

Some guys make better assistants than they do head coaches. I hope the best for Krags.

I went to a Cardsfan site and got routed to a LSU site...you wouldn't believe the Fans of the Cardinals who went on the LSU site and really poor mouthed Coach K. It was terrible and finally the LSU folks asked them to leave/quit. Really sad.
