January 20, 201115 yr Starting to stick to the roads in Frankfort now. It started snowing around 12:30 pm but just started to stick. 31 degrees too.
January 20, 201115 yr I told my brother 35 minutes ago it was about to start sticking to the roads, the sun is gone and even though it's been cloudy all day the sun does still play a part in it sticking to the roads. I then quickly ordered some Larosa's while they're still delivering.
January 20, 201115 yr Downtown Cincinnati starting to snow bigger snow flakes now and comming down real hard, looked the Artimis camera's at the cut in the hill in NKY and still moving along with wet roads. I am leaving at 4 p.m. should be a treat to drive to Erlanger on I-75. JD

January 20, 201115 yr Coming down pretty heavy here in Bardstown for the past couple hours. Parked cars are pretty much covered, but the pre-treating of the streets seems to be paying off. Looks like about 1 to 1 1/2 inches.

January 20, 201115 yr Had no problem in the ice couple weeks ago. You must have had the only vehicle in the Greater Cincy area that didn't. No one I know, 4-wheel drive included, could go faster than 15-20 without sliding everywhere, if not less.

I wasn't going in at noon only to be told I could leave after 3 hours and drive home in poor driving conditions that would take over an hour and not get paid for it.
January 20, 201115 yr Here in Bardstown, two of our high schools -- Bethlehem and Nelson Co. -- dismissed at 1 p.m., but Bardstown High stayed open for regular hours. Naturally, on my way home from work, I came across one of their buses that slipped off the road during its route and couldn't get back on because of how slick the road was. Fortunately none of the kids were hurt.
