Could you provide any backup for your statement that "superstar" teams usually get knocked off? I'd assert just the contrary. A superstar team may occassionally get knocked off before the finals, but I think such is the exception; not the norm. And I certainly don't expect it to happen to Trinity this year.

I am going with the Dallas TV dream sequence, Trinity loses, SK wins state and then he wakes up and realizes it was one long dream. Pretty soon he will predict victory over Ryle and it starts over. Our favorite poster giving us another laugh.

Don't get too uptight about this game yet. I'm not sure Ryle will even make the trip over to Independence to face the nationally ranked (in your mind) Pioneers. I think a forfeit is only a 2-0 loss and that would look better on Ryle's resume. I'm sure Coach Warner may consider that option rather than risk a fanny-whoopin from a superior (in your mind) opponent.
