$3.00 Parking at the 10 Region All A at NKU

Featured Replies

Mustang you guys just keep doing what you are doing. Stan Steidel and Mike Swauger and the other founders of this great tournament I'm sure are very proud to have dedicated folks like yourself carrying on the tradition 31 yrs later. I attended the first ever All A Classic as a ten yr old and watched Bellevue battle Dayton in a packed house at Bend Flora Gymnasium. This is a fantastic tourney !

I am from one of those schools that had the longest drive and no complaints here.

I also hate to see comments of the Northern Schools not part of the 10th region. I am glad that they are in our region.

I am sure that BB will host a wonderful tourney. I am orginally from a very small school and I sure wish they had an All A that we could have played in.

Ditto on the drive issue, of course we have been making the long drives for decades so we are numb to that issue. I have no problems with the NKY schools in the 10th. It's not their choice either.

$3.00 is chump change go to a Reds or Bengals game and wow what a world that is. Mustang and all the positve poster's on this site thanks for supporting Brossart. As a Southern Ohio resident actually Northern Kentucky come to NKY or stay at home I am sure you won't be missed. Good luck Brossart and to all schools in the 10th Region. JD

We live in a time where it is common to pay $10, $15 or even more to park for events. $3 is not worth the arguement if you don't like it then just don't go. I know you can say it is the principal of the thing but bottom line it is a cost of doing business in todays world and BB should not be demonized for taking their turn. And as for the kids, if they want to go, $3 won't stop them. But the price of gas..... now that is another thing. Good luck to the hosts and the teams. Enjoy!

Good grief! I pay more than $3 a day to park to work.

Try going to a "free" event at the KY Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville. Parking is $8.

I would much rather pay $3 to park in a lot close to the gym than try to search for a parking spot at some of these schools.

Parking at the State Tournament starts at around $10

16th Region tourney at MSU charges to park, I believe it has been at least $5 for quite some time and I still go every night.

Just do what I do, hand them your debit card and say this is all I got, they give a silly look and wave me on in, works everytime.

A little off track here....but I once had a fellow yell at me for a good 5 minutes while I was working in a concession stand for a local high school. What would cause this fellow to rant and rave at me? A $1.00 bottle of water being sold to him, it wasn't the price actually - he was upset because it was from WALMART.

Don't know where this short story ties in with this thread at...but i was wondering if I somehow crossed paths with the same fellow again on this forum....

Good luck to Brossart holding it at NKU - it sounds very nice!!

I have no problem with the price, but NKU has some sorry parking lots. Hope that there is enough spaces for both the fans and students.

The problem for me is not that Brossart is holding this @ NKU. I have nothing against them & I'm sure they'll do the best they can to host the tournament. The problem is that I shouldn't have to pay $3 to park simply because Brossart is incapable of hosting the tournament on their home floor.

Please quit comparing this to other regional tournaments, or to the Sweet 16, or to a Reds/Bengals game, or to any other sporting event where it's expected that you'll have to pay to park. This is the 10th Region Class A tournament, and in my opinion it's quite ridiculous if fans do indeed have to pay.

You obviously have something against them. Pardon the Brossart logo. :ylsuper:

I think it is fair to compare to regional tournaments, because it is in fact a regional tournament.
