100% true. And any UofL fan that is supremely confident about next season despite what we're losing on the offensive and defensive lines is really underestimating the importance of those nine positions.

Easy answer. Charlie Strong. He has a good working relationship with most of the high school coaches in Florida, from his time in Gainsville. Speaking of which, you think Louisville is crappy? You've never been to Gainsville, have you?

If these two 4star recruits were really any good, they would be gong to school somewhere with a bigger name, not Louisville. The state of FL wouldn't let them out if they were good, I mean why leave Florida for crappy Louisville, what is there.

 

While I won't say they're not any good, the 2 recruits in question were not really on any of the Big 3's radars until Miami's recently because they only have 6 or 7 commits. However, FSU has had crazy DB classes the last two years, and UF may have had the best (at least on paper) DB class of all-time last year. There is some truth to your statement I guess, but U of L is getting two really talented players here and Strong will coach them well. But let's be honest, if Rogers had better grades and especially if LSU had not taken Mettenberger Bridgewater and him would be at LSU, and I don't know if Holliman and Johnson end up in Louisville.

 

A name to keep in mind is Denzel Perryman. I've seen alot of people think he could make his way up to U of L as well. He's "only" a 3 star but he's a beast and might end up being the best of the bunch.

Last I checked, Louisville has some rather attractive women, as well. Haven't seen to many Miss Worlds in Gainsville.

Very true; you would think that some are aware of that, especially if they are big followers of college football.

If a 4 star recruit comes to either Louisville or KY, then they must not be that good, because FLA keps the best. Plus GA, LSU, MS, ALA, would at least get the best left overs if not the best. I have been to both Lex and Louisville, if I had to choose it would be Lex. Less crime and better facilities, and overall better place to live. Either way if a FLA kid comes to either KY school he is a reject from the bigger schools. I mean really, what does Louisville have, a big city, so does everyone else, at least KY is in a good 5 time NAT CHAMP Conference. Louisville is the Big East where they put the first place team in a bowl vs a 8th place SEC team. Louisville has a pizza stadium that hold as many as a local gym as compared to SEC schools. Yeah a lot of exposure too, I mean no exposure. A kid can get exposure in a SEC school on TV, how many times do you see the Big East game of the week on Nat TV?

 

I have also been to Gainsville many times, better everything there but hospitality, like in Lex.

He's been a long-time presence in some of these kids lives as a recruiter for UF until just a year ago. Finally, there can be no doubt that Louisville is capitalizing on Miami's coaching switch. These guys were good enough to go to The U; what makes them such awful players?

Obviously it's because they landed at Louisville. I mean, there's no way that an Florida school would have let them go. So, the obvious conclusion is that they must suck because 1) Florida didn't land them, and 2)they picked Louisville as it was obviously were the last place on earth anyone who was any good would every want to come to play.

I stand by what I say, if they were really good then they would go bigger. It isn't like the Ville is a powerhouse or anything.

 

I have met Charlie Strong and he is a for sure great guy, a family man IMO. He took the time to speak to me on a business tip I had a few years ago. I would rather have him than Joker at UK.

I still say picking Louisville over a big school is like picking North Dakota State JR College over Louisville.

Plus I give, it is obvious I am no fan of the Ville, but you probably do have a better head coach and we got a has been in Greg Nord from UL. Bet you laugh at that.

Strong also can give a lot of them something other schools can't immediate playing time. He knows what he is doing is doing it well.
