Nobody from Lafayette??? Did anyone see Napier hit for 28 points vs. Campbell Co.??? Looks like Lafayette should have just stayed in Lexington and played in the Republic Bank Tourney!!

All tourny selections always make for hard feelings. I like when each game has a star of the game and then a tourny MVP. 4 from New Cath just too many. My opinion of course.

I was surprised Stauffer was not on there. He played great this week.

Would like to second that idea Panda and 4 players from NCC was at least one too many.....

All tournament teams usually always pick more from the championship game and the third/fourth place teams. The rest usually depend on performance throughout the whole tournament. Not everyone that deserves to be on the team is usually on the team.

GLARING omission here. The kid was a beast. Terrible to not recognize him on the All Tourney team. The kid is a warrior.

Exactly what I was thinking. Sounds like a nice tournament for some local teams but not bummed that Highlands doesnt play in this one. Id rather travel to other parts of the state to play different competiion.

If you guys haven't noticed the trend, they took 4 from the championship winner, 3 from the runner up, 2 from each team that played in the 3rd place game, and 1 from each team that played in the consolation championship.

Rice had 18 pts 14 rbs against Spencer Co, 4 pts (not sure how many rbs) against Newcath, 14 pts 6 rbs against Lloyd.

Need format tweeking badly.....lots of kids got left out and that leaves a bad taste for some...

No hard feelings on my part. I was just pointing out that a team that loses three games in a tournament by more than 20 points, probably doesn't have two of the best players in the tournament.:idunno:

 

I'll agree that four from the champion team is too many, especially in this instance where it's a 16 team tournament.
