Agreed...but Mason County is ranked in the top 20 and hasn't faired well as of late. I just think Northern Kentucky teams do not get the recognition they deserve. Cov Cath could be another argument for the same cause.

 

Mason County has played a tougher schedule to this point. They also beat Scott by 10 on Scott's home floor. Having seen both Mason Co and Dixie this season I think they are comparable at this time. Good matchups with Trammell and Gilbert at the point. Dixie and Mason County have similar size but I think Dixie has a deeper bench right now.

 

Setty would be a tough match up for Dixie. When Mason County gets Pawsatt back that will provide a huge boost to that team.

 

Comparable teams at this time but when Pawsatt comes back I give Mason County the edge on the starting five. If Dixie can keep improving they could very well be top 20 team in state by mid January.

Dixie gets outscored in the first quarter again, only to take control in the second and third quarters.

 

This tells me that they are a well conditioned team with depth. They'll be tough to beat throughout the season. I'd be surprised if they lose more than 2 games in nky this year.

Covcath's only loss is to a very good Lexcath team.

 

Right now Dixie and Covcath are the two best teams in the 9th. I wouldn't give either the advantage over the other until they play one another.
