Pike and Hatton was too much for the Birds. Stansberry did a great job also. How many points did Pike have. He had to have had 30+

The first two games Flynn went with an 8 man rotation. Without Crowley and Stewart he is down to 6. Who played tonight besides those 6 boys? I guess New and True only played varsity, that leaves the JV extremely thin. Who played in the JV game and what was the score of that game?

 

My first thought was without 2 of their best players to only be down 12 going to the 4th qtr. was a nice effort by the Birds.

I believe they were only down by 10 with 6 min left in the game. This is the most wide open region I've seen in about 20 years.

Stewart is on crutches and I believe Crowley has some sort of groin or upper thigh injury? Not sure of the specifics on him.

 

No surprise in this score with those two out for the Birds. Heard Zeke had a huge game and was laughing at the HHS players after every basket he made, taunting them and the HHS students who were there. Is this true?

Highlands student section had no respect for him and saying he was overrated and was calling him every name in the book. They even made signs stating they hated Zeke Pike. So Zeke was just letting the opposing team's fans have it on a night that he could be cocky having a huge game.

Either way, the kid needs to learn to be the bigger person in that situation. All he's doing is adding even more fuel to the fire. I hate to point things out like this, especially when it comes to a high school KID, but someone seriously needs to sit down and talk to this young man about his actions.

Surprised that Highlands administrators would allow that to happen. Do they not have representatives at away games to kind of police the student following? Zeke Pike will need to grow up and not let this type thing take him out of games as it will get worse before it gets better as word of this gets around. It will be interesting to see how other schools handle this.

Freshman guard Brandon Hatton added 15 points for Dixie Heights, which has won its first six games.

 

Highlands junior forward Patrick Towles scored a team-best 16 points in the losing effort.

Did you not see the piece of paper they had they was probably 8 feet long that had Zeke's a Beach written on it. They even were chanting it at one point. I was there also.
