Mike Hartline arrested

Featured Replies

The WKYT reporter harrasing him at the jail was pathetic. Whoever sent the guy to the jail should be fired. Everyone knows he isn't going to comment there, he's a college player they don't ever speak without a coach's permission. And to just be standing there ready to sprint after him just looks pathetic.

You need to change it for voting purposes if not for anything else.

Fine I guess I will go do it.

I'm sure it was WLEX. But yes, terrible.

His driver's license is not up to date with his current permanent address.

Just like when you move from one side of town to the other, you have 30 days (I believe) to get it updated.

I had no idea that was a crime.

Looks like Hartline has attended Clyde's class on "How To Flee Lexington Reporters" course...

Again I say not funny, yet funny.

Yes it was WLEX, and there was a Channel 36 mic right there too.

I agree it was sad and pathetic.

Didn't bother me any. News station doing their job. Trying to get the news. If he wanted to share his story they would have gotten it first and that is what the news organizations want. The Breaking News.

I was a journalism major though. I am a little biased and understand the desire and win-at-all-costs mentality of breaking a story and the lack of morals needed to cross the line to get that story. Journalism can be a soulless occupation.

You have 10 days to notify the DOT of an address change.

It is a misdemeanor. It is important to do it incase someone (the police) needs to find you for some reason.

How dare he not change it. :D Reminds me I need to change mine but I am not paying $30 to do it until it expires.

FYI, If you don't change it, and you get pulled over you could be cited or even arrested. The latter isn't likely though.

IMO the reporters are scum in this video.

I've got zero issue with the reporter. I wouldn't want the job but it is the job to try to get a reaction.

The big question is will Hartline try to throw some of his teammates under the bus just like the time he got benched a few years ago.

When you're stupid bad things happen to you.

Good thing he is a QB and not a wide receiver in the jail cell.

One question I have on the subject. What I read was this alcohol intoxication charge was his first and second offense. How can it be first and second?

This whole thing sounds like the cheerleader's fault, hahaha. I wonder if you can be suspended from cheering at the bowl game?
