Is there any must see games scheduled for next year? I have seen where Highlands is going to play Boyle County and Elder. Those should be fun to watch.

How about the rest of the teams? Would love to hear what interesting games the state finalists have on their schedule as well as some of the other elite teams. Any Indiana, Ohio, or TN opponents?

Highlands-Elder will be an absolute masterpiece of high school football. The pre and post game hype surrounding this one will have implications that reverberate for many years to come. We may just see a rivalry in the making.

Trinity's schedule will be a BEAST!!!

What out of district games are on their 2011 schedule?

Trinity's schedule will be a BEAST!!!

Not if it includes a lot of KY teams.

Lone Oak at Paducah Tilghman 1st game of the year. Its the 1st time they met since 2002. Paducah Tilghman has won all 25 previous meetings. It should be a good opener.

Ryle (although not as good as years' past) will take on Cincy Colerain next year.

Should be interesting to see how Elliott fares against a big, physical, athletic defense like the Cards.

It's my understanding that it won't.

Who will the Rocks be playing? I've already heard their schedule won't include Cincy X or Elder.

Trinity's schedule will be a BEAST!!!

If it is, with what they have coming back they will have to make a lot of noise in the national polls.

Though we will be decimated by graduation (losing 26 VERY good seniors), we are playing a very 'interesting' schedule next year. Among the opponents:

* Nease, FL (Tebow's old HS)

* Lou. Central (2010 3A state champs)

* Lou. Western (2010 4A semi-finalist)

* Lou. Manual (haven't played them since 2008)

* Warren Central (2010 5A quarter-finalist; beat Bowling Green in regular season; everybody returning)

* Campbell Co. (for a little "northern Ky. flavor")

Nease is to be part of a new Bowl game that is to be similar to the "Kirk Herbstriet Challenge" (St. X and Central involved as well).

I like the Campbell Co-Ballard match up for the simple fact that nky 6A teams generally don't play Louisville 6A teams during the regular season.

Conner took a lot of heat about their non-district schedule this past season. It's my understanding that they will play Boone/Ryle/CCH in their non-district schedule.

Seems wrong not seeing Trinity on Ballard's schedule. Seems to me that proximity would make that a PERFECT season opener.

Yeah, but the replacement is awfully hard to argue. In fact, it's hard to argue to replace any of the teams on Ballard's OOD with Trinity. Not that I wouldn't love to see them continue to play each other. But objectively, they've put togehter a very nice schedule, IMO.
